Ranchi/Assam:Amid the ongoing electoral activities in Assam, a team from the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Seva Dal is actively engaged in campaigning across various constituencies. Led by State Seva Dal President Mr. Naveen Kumar Singh, the team is carrying out extensive outreach to strengthen the party’s presence on the ground.
As per the directions of National Congress Seva Dal President Mr. Lalji Desai, responsibilities have been assigned to each office bearer for individual Lok Sabha constituencies. In this regard, Organisation General Secretary Chandra Rashmi Pingua has been entrusted with the charge of the Darrang–Udalguri Lok Sabha constituency.
Speaking about the campaign, Pingua stated that the constituency comprises 11 Assembly segments, and the Congress appears to have a strong foothold across most of them. She noted that the party’s “five guarantees” have received a positive response from the electorate, which is expected to reflect during polling.
She further informed that the campaign is being carried out in close coordination with block presidents, mandal presidents, and booth-level workers. Meetings are also being held with Bodo women self-help groups, tea garden unions, minority communities, All India Church Committee representatives, village heads, and other local stakeholders.
The proactive engagement of the Seva Dal is expected to bolster the Congress campaign at the grassroots level and contribute positively to the party’s prospects in the ongoing elections.
