CPI(M)Condemns Ink Attack on AISA National President Neha Vora

Ranchi: The Jharkhand State Secretariat of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has strongly condemned the incident in which ink was allegedly thrown at AISA National President Neha Vora during a students’ march to the Assembly.
CPI(M) State Secretary Prakash Viplav described the incident as a cowardly act and said it was a result of the politics of hatred and intolerance.

He alleged that attempts were being made by Hindu communal organisations to influence young people through hate propaganda. He said the incident also reflected what he termed the RSS’s growing frustration with the student movement spreading across the country
in defence of education and democratic rights.

Viplav said differences of opinion in a democracy should be addressed through dialogue and democratic means, and that such acts against student activists were unacceptable.
