Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has been awarded the prestigious Great Place to Work certification for the period February 2026 to February 2027, marking the third consecutive year of this achievement following a company-wide evaluation by the Great Place to Work Institute (India).
The recognition reflects SAIL’s sustained efforts to foster a modern, agile, and employee-centric workplace culture. The certification is based on a comprehensive employee survey, which recorded a significant improvement in the company’s Trust Index score, indicating high levels of employee confidence and engagement.
SAIL continues to roll out progressive human resource initiatives, including SAIL DARPAN, a transparent and performance-based evaluation framework aligned with organisational goals. The company has also strengthened employee development through collaborations with leading institutions such as IIM Kozhikode, IIM Bangalore, IIM Jammu, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, XLRI, and ASCI for specialised training and domain-transition programmes.
Commenting on the achievement, Chairman and Managing Director Amarendu Prakash said the certification reflects the trust employees repose in the organisation and the collective effort to build a positive and inclusive workplace culture across SAIL.
