Blood Warrior Nadeem Khan Honored for Humanitarian Service for the Second Consecutive Year


Ranchi: On the occasion of World Minority Rights Day, the Jharkhand State Minority Commission organized a grand state-level program at Haj House, Ranchi. The event honored several distinguished individuals from different districts of Jharkhand for their outstanding contributions in the fields of education, health, social service, and humanitarian work.



Among the awardees, “Lahu Bolega” Blood Donation Organization, Ranchi, and the Jharkhand Thalassemia Patients Association,led by founder Blood Warrior Nadeem Khan, were specially honored for the second consecutive year for their exceptional humanitarian services. Their work includes promoting the Blood Donation–Mahadaan Campaign and providing continuous support to patients and families affected by Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, and Aplastic Anemia.

 


The honor was conferred by the Honorable Minister for Minority Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, Mr. Hafeezul Hasan Ansari, along with Mr. Hidayatullah Khan, Chairman of the Jharkhand State Minority Commission; Mr. Shamsher Alam, Vice Chairman; Ms. Jyoti Singh Matharu, Vice Chairperson; Mr. Solomon, Vice Chairman; and Mr. Supriyo Bhattacharya, Central Spokesperson of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. The award included a ceremonial shawl and a memento.



Members of the Minority Commission, along with responsible representatives, social workers, and intellectuals from minority communities across Jharkhand, were present at the program. Speakers highlighted that voluntary blood donation and dedicated service to patients suffering from life-threatening diseases serve
as an inspiration to society.




Expressing gratitude, the “Lahu Bolega” organization thanked the Honorable Chairman, Vice Chairpersons, Members of the Commission, and the Honorable Minister for Minority Welfare for recognizing their efforts. The organization stated that receiving this honor for the second year in a row has further strengthened their commitment to promoting blood donation, raising awareness about thalassemia, and supporting affected families.



Several prominent members of the “Lahu Bolega” organization were present on the occasion, including senior engineer and organization president Elig Shahnawaz Khan, Jharkhand High Court advocate Elig Sharbeel Ahmed, businessman Elig Imtiyaz Ali, Mufti Qamar Alam, engineer Shahnawaz Abbas, Sajid Umar, Akram Rashid, Mohammad Babbar, Tariq Mujibi, Tanveer Ahmed, Buland Akhtar, Javed Khan, and other social activists.



The program concluded with a renewed commitment to protecting minority rights and expanding humanitarian initiatives such as voluntary blood donation.
