The Hot Strip Mill (HSM) of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has achieved a remarkable feat by recording its highest-ever production for the month of October.
In October 2025, the mill produced 3,66,436 tonnes of HR coils, surpassing the previous best October output of 3,65,236 tonnes achieved in 2007. This milestone breaks an 18-year-old record, reflecting the team’s consistent focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
The achievement stands as a testament to the teamwork and meticulous planning of the HSM collective, who ensured smooth operations while maintaining stringent safety and quality standards.
BSL’s top management has commended the HSM team for this outstanding performance and expressed confidence that the department will continue to set new benchmarks in the times ahead.
