Awareness Rath Flagged Off by DC and DDC to Mark Jharkhand’s Silver Jubilee Year

Bokaro, November 11:

Marking the Silver Jubilee Year of Jharkhand’s Foundation Day, a massive public awareness campaign was launched in Bokaro today. Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha and Deputy Development Commissioner Shatabdi Majumdar, along with other officials, flagged off the Awareness Rath from the Collectorate premises.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Ajay Nath Jha said that disseminating information about the government’s welfare schemes to the public is a top administrative priority. “Information is empowerment, and this awareness vehicle will serve that very purpose,” he said. The initiative aligns with a statewide campaign launched by the Chief Minister, aiming to inform citizens through multimedia and cultural means.

The awareness vehicle, prepared by the Information and Public Relations Department, Bokaro, will tour all nine blocks of the district — Chas, Chandanankyari, Jaridih, Chandrapura, Bermo, Petarwar, Gomia, Kasmar, and Nawadih. It will provide information on social security, agriculture, health, education, self-employment, and women empowerment.

Adding a cultural touch, a street play titled “Dhanya Hai Jharkhand Ki Dharti” was performed at the launch, captivating the audience. The play depicted how government schemes are transforming lives and will be showcased in various panchayats across the district in the coming days.

DDC Shatabdi Majumdar emphasized that the silver jubilee year is not merely a celebration but a moment of reflection and renewed commitment to progress through public participation.

Officials including NDC Prabhash Dutta, DPRO Ravi Kumar, DSO Shalini Khalkho, District Sports Officer Hemlata Bun, and Assistant PRO Avinash Kumar Singh, along with members of the cultural team and media representatives, were present at the event.
