BSL Clears Sector 4 Corridors, Cracks Down on Commercial Encroachments

Bokaro, September 11: The commercial corridors of Sector 4 are getting a fresh lease of space as Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) intensifies its drive against illegal encroachments and unauthorised extensions.

The action follows a recent inspection of the market by Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha and BSL CGM Kundan Kumar, who raised concerns over the growing occupation of common corridors and obstruction of public movement.

Acting on the issue, BSL’s enforcement team carried out a targeted drive, clearing goods, temporary structures and other obstructions extending beyond designated commercial spaces. The move is aimed at restoring the original layout of the market and ensuring free movement of pedestrians and vehicles.

The Sector 4 commercial area, one of Bokaro’s busiest shopping hubs, has witnessed increasing use of common spaces for commercial activities. The latest action signals BSL’s renewed focus on keeping its township corridors clear, accessible and orderly.
