Indian Unity Committee commemorates Maulana Azad’s birth anniversary — Message of education and communal harmony reiterated








Ranchi :: The Indian Unity Committee celebrated the birth anniversary of India’s first Education Minister and great freedom fighter, Hazrat Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (Rahmatullah Alaih), on Tuesday. The committee’s founder president, Ghulam Mustafa, paid floral tribute to Maulana Azad’s portrait and offered his heartfelt respects.



On this occasion, Ghulam Mustafa said that Maulana Azad was firmly opposed to the partition of India and Pakistan. He never wanted the country to be divided. “Had our beloved India not been partitioned, it would have remained the largest and most powerful nation in the world today,” he added.




He further emphasized that Maulana Azad laid great stress on education, describing it as the greatest wealth that no one can steal. Mustafa urged everyone to pursue knowledge and spread awareness in society.




All present resolved to follow the path shown by Maulana Azad to contribute to the welfare of the nation and society. They remembered him as a true symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity and harmony.



Among those present on the occasion were Secretary Rameshwar Ram, Nisar Baba, Buland Akhtar, Ellis Kacchap, Ahmad Raza, and several others.
