Governor Gangwar Appeals to Jharkhand Youth to Play a Pioneering Role in Building a Developed India



Ranchi(Palamu): Hon’ble  Governor cum Chancellor of Jharkhand Universities, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, congratulated the students and researchers receiving their degrees at the Third Convocation of Neelamber-Pitamber University, Palamu. He said that a degree is not just a certificate but a symbol of one’s dreams, struggles, and responsibilities. He urged students not to limit themselves to their careers but to commit to serving society and the nation.

The Governor highlighted that the university is established in the name of great freedom fighters Neelamber and Pitamber. Paying tribute to these brave sons, he advised students to draw inspiration from their ideals and always remain committed to the nation’s welfare.

He directed universities to conduct regular classes, hold examinations on time, and provide degrees to students without delay. The Governor emphasized that delays in convocations affect not only students but also their families and society.

Expressing concern, he noted that Jharkhand still lags behind in higher education, with many students moving out of the state for better opportunities. He stressed the urgent need to change this and appealed to the youth to play a key role in realizing the vision of a Developed India @2047.

He also pointed out that the higher number of female gold medalists reflects women’s empowerment. The Governor urged students to use their knowledge, skills, and talents to bring positive changes in education, healthcare, environmental protection, and social justice.



On this occasion, he also inaugurated the Maharshi Vishwamitra Central Library within the university campus.
