DC Bokaro, Journalists, BSL officials & Administration pay tribute to Arvind Sharma

 


Press fraternity, district administration and BSL remember veteran PTI journalist

Members of the press fraternity, along with Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha, senior Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) executives and district administration officials, paid heartfelt tributes to senior journalist Arvind Sharma at a condolence meeting held at Circuit House on Wednesday.

Sharma, the Bokaro district correspondent of the Press Trust of India (PTI)  was remembered as a fearless, impartial and dedicated journalist. Floral tributes were offered, followed by a two-minute silence in his memory.

Paying tribute, DC Jha termed Sharma's demise an irreparable loss to Bokaro's media fraternity. He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, wished them strength to bear the loss and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

District Public Relations Officer Ravi Kumar said Sharma's integrity and dedication would continue to inspire young journalists. BSL Chief of Communications Manikant Dhan described him as an honest and committed professional, while Senior Managers Abhinav Shankar and Ravi Kumar Sinha also paid tributes.


Noyably Sharma's passing marks the end of an illustrious chapter in Bokaro journalism. Remembered for his integrity, fearless reporting and unwavering commitment to the profession, he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to be cherished by the media fraternity and the people of Bokaro.
