Ranchi: After Friday prayers today, Mr. Salahuddin Ansari, former Member of Parliament from Godda and father-in-law of Hazaribagh’s DDC
Mr. Ishtiyak Ahmed, passed away. He had been unwell for some time.
The funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) will be held on Saturday after the Zuhr prayer at his ancestral residence in Madhupur. News of his passing has sent waves of grief and sorrow across Jharkhand, Bihar, and Bengal.
Mr. Ansari was known among the public for his simplicity, principled leadership, and dedication
to public service. His affable nature and honest image earned him respect throughout Central Jharkhand. District administration, political parties, social organizations, intellectuals,
and the general public have expressed deep condolences on his demise.
A large number of people, including
political figures, officials, religious scholars (Ulama-e-Kiram), and other respected personalities of the city, are expected to
attend the funeral prayer.
His death has caused an irreplaceable loss,
not only to his family and region but also to
the broader political and social landscape. Salahuddin Ansari’s name will always be remembered as a symbol of simplicity,
integrity, and public service.
