Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) CMD Amarendu Prakash emphasized the need for integrity, efficiency, and good governance while inaugurating a vigilance seminar on “Enhancing Integrity & Efficiency in Procurement & Project Management” at Scope Convention Centre, New Delhi.
Organized by SAIL Vigilance as a prelude to Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, the seminar brought together senior officials and experts, including Nitin Kumar, Joint Secretary, CVC, functional directors, and CVO S N Gupta.
Technical sessions addressed cartelization in procurement, opportunities in GeM, challenges in project execution, and best practices in evaluating steel plant projects.
The event reiterated the VAW-2025 theme — “Vigilance: Shared Responsibility” — calling for collective commitment to transparency and efficiency.
