Mamata Banerjee Extends Support to Soumen Belthoria at Kashipur Rally, Intensifies Attack on BJP

Kashipur, West Bengal, March 28: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday rallied strong support for Kashipur candidate Soumen Belthoria, urging voters to back him while launching a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Addressing a large gathering, Banerjee accused the BJP of indulging in “jumla politics” and spreading misinformation, asserting that the people of Bengal would no longer tolerate such narratives. She called upon the electorate in Kashipur to ensure a decisive mandate in favour of Belthoria, describing him as a committed representative of the people.

Highlighting regional pride, Banerjee said Bengal has consistently resisted external political pressure and would continue to do so. “No matter how much they attack, Bengal will win again,” she declared, drawing loud cheers from supporters.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation, with party workers and local residents turning up in large numbers to express solidarity. The show of strength is being viewed as a significant push by the Trinamool Congress to consolidate support at the grassroots level.

Political observers note that Banerjee’s direct endorsement of Soumen Belthoria signals the party’s focused strategy in Kashipur, as electoral momentum builds across key constituencies in the state.
