Ranchi: On the occasion of Republic Day, the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri, hoisted the national flag with the rendition of the National Anthem at a function organized by the Ranchi district administration. On the occasion, he expressed his loyalty and dedication to the nation and stated that January 26, 1950, marks the historic day when the Constitution of India came into force, establishing India as a democratic republic.
The Deputy Commissioner said that Republic Day reminds us of the constitutional values of democracy, equality, liberty, and justice. He appealed to the people of Ranchi to adopt the ideals of the Constitution and actively contribute to building a strong, prosperous, and inclusive India.
Several senior officials were present at the flag-hoisting ceremony, including Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mr. Kumar Rajat; Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Mr. Rajeshwar Nath Alok; Additional Collector Mr. Ramnarayan Singh; Project Director, ITDA Ranchi, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Bhagat; Special Sub-Divisional Officer Ms. Moni Kumari; District Public Relations Officer Ms. Urvashi Pandey; Deputy Collector (Land Reforms) Mr. Mukesh Kumar; District Panchayati Raj Officer Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sahu; District Transport Officer Mr. Akhilesh Kumar; Treasury Officer Ms. Sarika Bhagat, along with many other officers, officials, and staff members.
At the conclusion of the program, the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate extended heartfelt Republic Day greetings to the residents of Ranchi district and to all officers, officials, and employees.
