DC Bokaro Ajay Nath Jha Mourns Father, Remembers Him as “Champaran’s Gandhi”

 




Bokaro Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha  shared a deeply emotional message on social media, announcing the demise of his father Yadunath Jha, fondly revered as the “Gandhi of Champaran” for his lifelong dedication to education and social awakening.



In a moving post, the DC described how his father devoted his life to spreading the light of education from household to household across Champaran, becoming a moral and intellectual guide for generations. He wrote that Yadunath Jha merged with the divine “in his own soil, his own air, and the fragrance of his fields,” a poetic reflection of a life rooted in simplicity, values, and service.



Ajay Nath Jha emphasized that Yadunath Jha was not just his personal loss, but a loss for the entire Champaran region. “He was not only my Babooji, he belonged to all of Champaran,” the post conveyed, underlining the deep emotional bond the people shared with the veteran social educator.
