Ranchi:A meeting of the State Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, during which several important proposals related to public welfare and development were approved. The major decisions taken in the meeting are as follows:
@ Approval of the scheme for the implementation of the Nari Adalat Scheme under the centrally sponsored Mission Shakti.
@ Administrative approval of ₹35,43,31,000 for improving the riding quality of the Chouparan–Chatra Road (MDR-68) from Km 0.00 to 49.20 (total length 49.20 km) under the Road Division, Chatra.
@ Administrative approval of ₹81,36,86,000 for the widening, strengthening, and reconstruction of the Nawadih to Ghutwe Hirak Road via
@ Chirudih–Manpur–Telo Taranga Road (total length 22.757 km) in Bokaro district, including bridge construction, land acquisition, utility shifting, and plantation, after transferring it from the Rural Works Department to the Road Construction Department.
@ Approval for the restructuring of teaching and non-teaching posts at Jamshedpur Women’s University, Jamshedpur.
@ Approval for the restructuring of teaching and non-teaching posts at Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, Ranchi.
@ Approval for extending the tenure of the Jharkhand State Law Commission for a further period of two years, from 14.11.2025 to 13.11.2027.
@ Administrative approval of the revised estimate amounting to ₹3,873.454 lakh for the Saidapur Weir Scheme in Godda district.
@ Administrative approval of ₹101,38,91,300 for the construction of a Railway Over Bridge (ROB) near Bajrha village in Palamu district under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF), with ₹19,53,47,800 to be borne as the State’s share.
@ Administrative approval of ₹157,89,69,000 for widening and strengthening of the Jaina Mod (Tilka Manjhi Chowk) to Phusro (Nirmal Mahato Chowk) Road (MDR-077) into a 2-lane road with paved shoulders, including bridge construction, R&R, plantation, and utility shifting.
@ Approval for the regularization of services of three irregularly appointed employees in the Settlement Office, Hazaribagh, under the Jharkhand Service Regularization Rules, 2015.
@ Approval for the formation of the Netarhat Residential School Management and संचालन Rules, 2026 for effective management and smooth operation of the Netarhat Residential School.
@ Approval of ₹134,00,00,000 for the installation of 8,854 CCTV cameras in 606 police stations across the state, in compliance with the Supreme Court’s directions, based on the DPR prepared by AP-IT.
@ Ex-post facto approval of amendments made to the Rules for Selection and Appointment of the Director General and Inspector General of Police, Jharkhand, 2025.
@ Approval for a high-level delegation led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister to participate in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 at Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, and other programs in London (UK).
@ Approval of amendments to Rule 261 of the Jharkhand Treasury Code, 2016.
@ Approval for execution of tenders through the two-envelope system for schemes ranging from ₹50 lakh to ₹2.50 crore under the Water Resources Department.
@ Ex-post facto approval of modifications in the quality specifications of blankets distributed under the Blanket and Clothing Distribution Scheme.
@ Approval of amendments to the State Employees Health Insurance Scheme.
@ Ex-post facto approval for extending the tenure of Shri Kamleshwar Kant Verma as Managing Director, Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Limited, Ranchi, from four years to five years.
@ Ex-post facto approval of the Second Supplementary Expenditure Statement for the financial year 2025–26.
@ Approval for setting up a 50 TLPD capacity dairy plant at Titirbila in Seraikela-Kharsawan district through the Jharkhand Milk Federation and extending the project period up to 2026–27.
@ Approval of the proposal for promulgation of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax(Amendment) Ordinance, 2025, in line with the amendments made by the Central Government.
