The President of India has approved the appointment of Priya Ranjan as Director-in-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), a unit of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). The decision has been conveyed through an official order issued by the Ministry of Steel.
Priya Ranjan is currently serving as Executive Director (Works), Bokaro Steel Plant, and will assume charge as Director-in-Charge from the date of taking over the responsibility. His tenure will continue until December 31, 2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Bokaro Steel Plant has already witnessed Priya Ranjan’s leadership and vision during his tenure as Executive Director (Works), where he set strong operational and performance benchmarks. These initiatives have laid a solid foundation and are widely seen as setting the tone for his tenure as Director-in-Charge, ensuring continuity, focused leadership, and sustained momentum in the plant’s growth and modernization journey.
