Bokaro: The proactive initiative of Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha to provide journalists with a dedicated Press Club has drawn appreciation from the media fraternity. Acting on the DC’s directions, the district administration has accelerated groundwork for the project, beginning with a site inspection of the identified land at Camp Two by Additional Collector Md. Mumtaz Ansari.
During the inspection, the Additional Collector instructed District Public Relations Officer Ravi Kumar to complete necessary departmental correspondence and ensure time-bound procedural action to move the project ahead.
As per the Deputy Commissioner’s clear directive, land measurement was carried out under the supervision of Chas Circle Officer Seva Ram Sahu, in the presence of revenue officials and concerned staff, ensuring transparency and accuracy in land verification.
The initiative reflects Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha’s constructive and supportive approach towards journalists. The proposed Press Club is expected to offer a well-organised and fully equipped space, strengthening professional working conditions for the media community and reinforcing the administration’s commitment to facilitating responsible journalism.
