TMC Secretary Soumen Beltharia led a marathon organised from Majramura Mor to the Kashipur Block Office to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The event, hosted by the Kashipur Block Administration and the Panchayat Committee, witnessed enthusiastic participation from youths and local residents.
Beltharia said that Birsa Munda’s struggle for justice, identity and the rights of indigenous communities remains a timeless source of inspiration. “His courage is a guiding light for all of us. Honouring him means committing ourselves to dignity, unity and social strength,” he noted.
Participants paid heartfelt tribute on the 151st birth anniversary of the revered tribal icon, recalling his historic sacrifice for freedom and social empowerment.
The programme concluded with messages encouraging youth to carry forward the values of resilience and cultural pride embodied by Birsa Munda.
