Bokaro: At the ‘Nakshatra – Scholar Badge Ceremony 2025’ hosted by Delhi Public School, Bokaro Steel City, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand Santosh Kumar Gangwar extended Children’s Day greetings and commended the school for its outstanding academic record. He highlighted that DPS Bokaro students secured three of the top five ranks in IIT-JEE and that another student topped the National Institute of Design entrance exam, underscoring the school’s national standing.
The Governor said the institution, nearing its 40-year milestone in 2026, continues to grow as a centre of excellence in education and culture.
The ceremony was attended by BSL’s Executive Director (Works) Priya Ranjan and Executive Director (HR) Rajashree Banerjee with Pro-Vice Chairperson of the DPS Bokaro Board of Management, School Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar, along with directors and principals from various schools, was also present.
The Governor noted that Jharkhand’s true strength lies in its young population and encouraged students to contribute through innovation, scientific thinking and ethical leadership. Citing the Prime Minister’s “Pariksha Pe Charcha,” he urged them to approach exams positively, reminding them that success is shaped by confidence, patience and perseverance, not just marks.
