Congress Assigns Major Role to Shilpi Neha Tirkey, Appointed Member of Tribal Advisory Council





Ranchi: Jharkhand’s Minister for Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cooperation, Mrs. Shilpi Neha Tirkey, has been appointed as a member of the All India Adivasi Congress and the Tribal Advisory Council for the Northeastern States. Her inclusion in the council marks a new milestone for Jharkhand’s representation in national-level tribal leadership.


Expressing her gratitude on this occasion, Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey said —

> “It is a matter of great honor for me to be entrusted with such an important responsibility related to the tribal community of our country. I sincerely thank Congress President Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Mr. Rahul Gandhi, AICC General Secretary (Organization) Mr. K.C. Venugopal, President of All India Adivasi Congress Dr. Vikrant Bhuria, and Mr. K. Raju for their faith in me.”



She further stated that this responsibility is not merely a personal honor but a recognition of Jharkhand’s tribal identity and empowerment. Through the council, meaningful efforts will be made to strengthen policies concerning the welfare, rights, and development of tribal communities across India.
