Ranchi: On the eve of World Minority
Rights Day, the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee organized a felicitation ceremony. On this occasion, four social workers who have been carrying out outstanding humanitarian
and social work in various fields among minority communities were honored.
The honored guests were felicitated with mementos and shawls by the President
of the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr. Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, the Working President, Mr. Bandhu Tirkey, and the State Spokesperson, Dr. M. Tausif.
Those honored included Nadeem Khan of Ranchi, a blood donor and founder of the “Lahu Bolega” Blood Donation Organization and the Jharkhand Thalassemia
Patients Association, for his exceptional humanitarian work for patients
and families affected by thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, and aplastic anemia. Tanveer Ahmed, President of Friends of the Weaker Society, Ranchi, was honored for his remarkable contribution to the field of education and for supporting thousands of underprivileged students.
Also honored were Kuldeep Tirkey, President of the Jharkhand Youth Christian Association, for his active involvement in humanitarian and social service, and Suraj Jhandai of the Gurunanak Sevak Jatha, Ranchi, for his dedicated service in the fields of social welfare and blood donation.
Addressing the gathering, Congress leaders praised the contributions of all the honorees and stated that such individuals strengthen social harmony, humanity, and the spirit of brotherhood in society.
