Bokaro Steel Plant marked World Quality Day on 13 November 2025 with a renewed call for innovation and adherence to global quality standards. The observance began at Ispat Bhavan, where Executive Director (HR) Rajashree Banerjee hoisted the Quality Flag and led employees in taking the quality pledge. Executive Director (Works) Priya Ranjan and senior officials from various departments joined the event.
GM (Business Excellence) Anupama Tiwari opened the programme by highlighting the relevance of World Quality Day and sharing the message of Director In-Charge Alok Verma. GM In-charge Amresh Sinha elaborated on this year’s theme, “Quality: Think Differently”, urging teams to adopt fresh perspectives in quality enhancement.
In her address, Rajashree Banerjee emphasised that quality is woven into BSL’s organisational ethos, calling for continuous improvement and customer-focused excellence. Parallel flag-hoisting ceremonies were also held at the ED (Works) Building and Bokaro General Hospital.
The day also acknowledged BSL’s progress in quality leadership, including its ISO certifications, CE-Mark compliance and notable achievements by quality circle teams at ICQCC-2024, NCQC-2024, CCQC-2025 and the 5S National Conclave.
The ceremony was coordinated by Devyani Chakraborty and concluded with a vote of thanks by Sagarika Sahu.
