Ranchi(Kanke ):: Purnima Linda, the proud daughter of Kanke, brought laurels to Jharkhand by winning a bronze medal at the International Wushu Championship held in China. On her return, a grand felicitation ceremony was organized near Laxman Chowk in Kanke on Thursday to honor her outstanding achievement.
During the ceremony, Kanke MLA Suresh Baitha felicitated Purnima Linda with a shawl and garland, extending his best wishes for her future. He said
“Purnima Linda has made not only Kanke but the entire state of Jharkhand proud by winning a bronze medal at the international level. I will soon meet the Chief Minister to demand a government job for her as a mark of respect for her talent and hard work.”
MLA Baitha further added that Kanke constituency is predominantly a rural area, yet it is full of hidden talent.
