Bokaro, August 20: BK Tiwari, Director In-Charge (DIC) of Bokaro Steel Plant, inaugurated the newly renovated Swarn Jayanti Smarak located opposite Bokaro Airport. Dedicated to the citizens of the township, the memorial has been redeveloped with a modern and appealing design.
The facelift includes landscaped greenery, paved pathways, proper seating arrangements, and advanced lighting systems, transforming the Smarak into a peaceful and inspiring space for public use.
Addressing the gathering, BK Tiwari said that BSL continues to play a vital role not only in the nation’s industrial development but also in enhancing the social and cultural life of Bokaro. He expressed hope that the Swarn Jayanti Smarak would soon serve as a center for wellness, recreation, and community engagement.
The event was attended by Executive Director (HR) Rajshree Banerjee, Chief General Manager (Town Services) Kundan Kumar, senior officials, and a large number of residents.
