Ranchi: Following protests by candidates, students and youth, the Jharkhand government cancelled the appointments made through the JPSC 11th–13th Civil Services Examination, Food Safety Officer recruitment, and JSSC-CGL and CDPO examinations. However, the High Court’s stay order has created a complex situation, leaving the matter caught in legal complications.
The CPI(M) Jharkhand said the state government should take effective legal measures to resolve the issue and provide relief to the candidates and youth caught in this legal uncertainty. The party said that arguments such as, “The matter is before the High Court, what can we do?” have left the youth feeling betrayed.
The party said the agitation by candidates over irregularities in recruitment examinations reflects deep resentment among the youth. In this situation, CPI(M) Jharkhand appealed to young people to remain patient and maintain unity.
According to the party, any division among the youth would weaken the struggle to free government recruitment examinations from the grip of corruption, particularly at a time when employment opportunities are limited.
Government recruitment examinations are crucial for the youth, and the government must take concrete steps to ensure their transparency, credibility and fairness.
