Ranchi: SFI Jharkhand has welcomed the government’s decision to cancel the examinations conducted under the CGL/TDPL-2014 process, along with the results declared and appointments made on the basis of the investigation. The organisation described the decision as an important victory for students after their prolonged struggle.
SFI Jharkhand said its fight is not limited to the cancellation of examinations. The organisation has demanded that all cancelled examinations be conducted afresh without any additional fee, ensuring complete transparency and within a stipulated time frame.
The organisation also demanded an impartial and time-bound investigation into irregularities in recruitment examinations since 2014 and strict action against those found responsible. It further urged the government to publish a clear examination and recruitment calendar so that lakhs of students in Jharkhand do not have to wait for years for examinations and appointments.
SFI Jharkhand said that cancellation of the examinations is only the first step. Transparent examinations, time-bound recruitment and action against those responsible will be the organisation’s next battles. It said no
compromise with the future of students would be tolerated and that SFI would continue its struggle against corruption in the education system.
