JCI Ranchi Udaan's 'Glitz & Glam Exhibition' Giving New Wings to Women Entrepreneurship: Minister Deepika Pandey Singh


Ranchi: Jharkhand's Minister for Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj, Deepika Pandey Singh, inaugurated the 'Glitz & Glam Exhibition' organised by JCI Ranchi Udaan in Ranchi. On the occasion, she visited various stalls set up by women entrepreneurs and interacted with the exhibitors to learn about their products, innovations and entrepreneurial journeys.



Addressing the gathering, the minister said the exhibition is a commendable initiative aimed at promoting women entrepreneurship, encouraging local talent and creating greater opportunities for self-employment. She noted that such platforms enable women to showcase their skills, access new markets for their products and move towards greater economic self-reliance.




Describing the exhibition as a prestigious annual event, Deepika Pandey Singh said JCI Ranchi Udaan has been successfully organising it for several years. She said the exhibition reflects the spirit of women entrepreneurship, with participants presenting innovative startups and creative business ideas. From jewellery and garments to home décor products, the event highlights the talent, creativity and 





entrepreneurial capabilities of women. She added that the exhibition has become a much-awaited annual event and provides local women entrepreneurs with a strong platform to expand their businesses and reach a wider customer base.




The minister further said that the Jharkhand Government is continuously working to economically empower women by promoting entrepreneurship and creating more self-employment opportunities. She highlighted the role of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), the Rural Livelihood Mission and various skill development programmes in strengthening women's financial independence.



Expressing confidence in the impact of such initiatives, she said the exhibition would inspire more women to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams, establish new ventures and contribute actively to Jharkhand's economic and social development. She congratulated the entire JCI Ranchi Udaan team for successfully organising the event and said such initiatives would further strengthen the vision of an Atmanirbhar Jharkhand.



Among those present on the occasion were JFM Dr. Priya Lakhotia, President of JCI Ranchi Udaan; Pooja Budhia, Secretary; GFS Rakhi Jain, Founder President; along with other office-bearers of the organisation and distinguished guests.
