Ranchi: CPI(M) State Secretary Prakash Viplav on Friday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now resorting to desperate tactics, likening its conduct to the saying “a frustrated cat scratches the pole.” He claimed that the BJP’s communal agenda is losing ground, as attempts to incite unrest in the name of religion cannot succeed repeatedly.
Referring to recent events, Viplav said that after the failure of divisive politics during Ram Navami—particularly attempts to create unrest over DJ music—the gruesome murder of an innocent minor girl in Vishnugarh block of Hazaribagh district has come to light. He alleged that the involvement of a BJP leader as the prime accused in the case has left party leaders with no response.
He further stated that the prompt investigation by the Jharkhand Police, the post-mortem report ruling out sexual assault, and the arrest of the आरोपी BJP leader have exposed what he described as a “fabricated narrative” by the party.
Despite the alleged exposure of its “planted story” in this shocking incident, Viplav said, the BJP has not issued an apology and is instead attempting to cover up its “exposed face” by calling for a Jharkhand bandh, which, he claimed, failed to evoke public response.
He added that the BJP, known for spreading “false propaganda,” now stands exposed, and its negative politics has been brought into the open.
