CRM-III and Blast Furnace teams achieve top 5-star rating reinforcing BSL’s excellence in productivity and continuous improvement
Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) delivered an impressive performance at the Odisha State Productivity Council (OSPC) Competition 2026, securing five prestigious awards and reaffirming its strong foothold in operational excellence and innovation.
On March 24, the winning teams met Director In-Charge Priya Ranjan and shared insights into their projects and learning experiences. Appreciating their efforts, Priya Ranjan highlighted that such accomplishments on competitive platforms reflect BSL’s culture of innovation, efficiency, and teamwork, while strengthening its leadership in productivity enhancement.
Among the top achievers, CRM-III and Blast Furnace teams secured the highest 5-star rating. Hot Strip Mill (Team 1) and EMD teams earned 4-star ratings, while Hot Strip Mill (Team 2) received a 3-star rating, showcasing consistent performance across departments.
Executive Director (Works) Anup Kumar Dutta also commended the teams, noting that their success not only brings recognition to the organisation but also inspires the workforce to strive for higher standards. The achievement underscores BSL’s sustained commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
