Graphical Trend Shows Consistent 10% Gap Between Phusro and Chas Till 3 PM
Bokaro, February 23: Voting in the Municipal Election 2026 progressed steadily through the day, with Phusro Municipal Council maintaining a consistent lead over Chas Municipal Corporation in overall turnout.
As per official updates, Chas recorded 16.15 percent voting by 11:00 AM, increasing to 26.50 percent by 1:00 PM and reaching 36.92 percent by 3:00 PM. Phusro began with a stronger 21.33 percent by 11:00 AM, rose to 35.60 percent by 1:00 PM, and climbed further to 47.73 percent by 3:00 PM.
The figures indicate steady participation in both civic bodies, with Phusro maintaining an advantage of around 10 percentage points throughout the day. Polling was conducted peacefully, and voters were seen turning up in a disciplined manner across booths.
The smooth progression of polling reflects coordinated efforts by the district administration to ensure orderly arrangements, adequate security deployment, and continuous voter awareness, contributing to a calm and efficient electoral process.
