Ranchi: An Inter-House Board Display Competition was organised at Red C International School, Ramzan Colony, Branch-II, Ranchi, with the objective of encouraging creativity, teamwork, research skills, presentation skills and environmental awareness among students.
Students from all four houses presented displays on different themes. Mars House presented “Varieties of Living Things on Earth,” Venus House focused on “Threats to Biodiversity,” Mercury House presented “Flora and Fauna,” while Jupiter House showcased “Wildlife Sanctuary.” Students used drawings, models, messages and creative decorations to present their topics in an informative and attractive manner.
Mars House secured the first position, with Adnan Alam, Ayesha Parveen, Kaniz Fatima, Alfiya Naz, Ifa Fatima, Anabia Arman, Afan Rahmani and Mohammad Ahaan forming the winning team. Venus House secured the second position, with Ayan Alam, Nasreen Parveen, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Owais as its team members.
The winning students were awarded medals and certificates by the school’s Directress and competition judge, Dr Zeenat Kausar. Appreciating the students’ efforts, she said that such activities provide children with opportunities to understand subjects better, conduct research and express their ideas creatively.
Administrative Head Ali Zubairi, Tanveer Ahmad, Principal Soni S. Kerketta and Branch-II In-charge Kehkashan Parveen were present on the occasion. The teachers and staff played an important role in making the competition a success.
