Polling Personnel Leave Distribution Centre with Election Materials
Bokaro, Sunday: With the Municipal (General) Election 2026 approaching, Bokaro district administration has intensified security preparedness. A joint briefing was conducted at the Police Line in Sector 12 by District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha and Superintendent of Police Harvinder Singh to review law and order arrangements.
During the session, officials were instructed to maintain seamless coordination with the District Control Room and remain particularly alert at sensitive and hyper-sensitive polling stations. Emphasis was laid on ensuring a peaceful, impartial and transparent voting process.
The Superintendent of Police directed personnel deployed on election duty to act with vigilance and responsibility. He asked officers to immediately report any rumours or disruptive activities and ensure swift response to any emerging situation.
The administration reaffirmed its commitment to conducting the Municipal Election 2026 in a secure and orderly environment across Bokaro district.
