Education is the Beginning of Social Change: Deepika Pandey Singh

Ranchi, Itki: Jharkhand Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Mrs. Deepika Pandey Singh on Friday inaugurated the Late S.K. Imamuddin Memorial Library-cum-Study Centre, established by the Safdar Imam Foundation at Itki in Ranchi district.

Addressing the gathering, the minister termed the initiative a significant step towards promoting knowledge, opportunity and social awareness among students of the region. She said the centre would serve as a source of hope, confidence and progress for learners in Itki and adjoining areas.

Mrs. Singh emphasized that education is the most powerful tool for ensuring inclusive development, as it enables opportunities to reach even the most disadvantaged sections of society. She noted that such academic efforts help shape the aspirations of youth and bring positive change to the community.

Paying tribute to Late Sheikh Imamuddin, she said the institution established in his memory would strengthen the values of discipline, learning and social responsibility, inspiring future generations to move forward with dedication and hard work.

The minister appreciated the efforts of the Guruji family in spreading educational awareness in the surrounding areas. She added that children who lack access to books and learning resources at home would now benefit from a supportive academic environment at the centre.
