Bokaro: Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha has expressed deep grief over the untimely demise of local journalist Sunil Srivastava associated with Sudarshan News, describing his passing as an irreparable loss to the district and the media fraternity.
In his condolence message, the Deputy Commissioner said Srivastava was known for his impartial and dedicated journalism, consistently raising public issues with sincerity and commitment. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family, assuring that the district administration stands firmly with them during this difficult time.
Notably, during a recent inspection of Sadar Hospital Bokaro, the Deputy Commissioner had met Srivastava while he was undergoing treatment and directed doctors to ensure proper medical care. After battling prolonged illness, the journalist passed away in the early hours of Thursday. Necessary arrangements were made to transport the mortal remains respectfully to his residence.
District Public Relations Officer Ravi Kumar and Assistant Public Relations Officer Avinash Kumar Singh also expressed profound grief over the loss.
