DIC distributes sweets among employees, applauds teamwork behind historic January performance
Bokaro Steel Plant recorded an exceptional start to calendar year 2026 by achieving multiple all-time high monthly performances across major production areas. Key units including raw material handling, iron making, steel making, rolling mills and dispatches delivered unprecedented output, highlighting strong operational control and coordinated teamwork across the plant.
Significant milestones were achieved in raw material handling, oven pushing, sinter production, hot metal and crude steel output, with several units surpassing their rated capacities. Rolling and finishing units also established new production and dispatch benchmarks, supported by improved logistics efficiency and smoother supply-chain operations.
These achievements were realized under the leadership of Priya Ranjan, Director-In-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant. To celebrate the collective success, the DIC distributed sweets among employees and lauded their discipline, dedication and teamwork, reaffirming management’s focus on sustaining high performance in the coming months.
