Ranchi: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, Dr. Jamal Ahmad presented his book titled “Baba-e-Jharkhand: Shibu Soren in the Eyes of Intellectuals” to the Hon’ble Speaker of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, Shri Rabindranath Mahto. On this occasion, the author elaborated on the historical, ideological, and documentary significance of the book.
This 416-page book, written in Urdu, is regarded as a living document of Jharkhand’s struggles, consciousness, and soul. The work presents a comprehensive portrayal of the life, struggles, and ideology of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, reflecting Jharkhand’s history, its pain, and its pride.
Dr. Jamal Ahmad stated that the book is not merely a biography, but a vast historical and ideological compilation that will serve as a source of inspiration for future generations.
Highlighting its unique features, he said that this is the first extensive documentation of Shibu Soren’s
personality in the Urdu language. The book includes writings by scholars, doctors, advocates, social workers, politicians, and youth from various parts of the country, symbolizing social unity and diversity.
According to the author, the book stands as a silent witness to Jharkhand’s social history and a living record of public aspirations. It is not only a legacy of the present time but also a heritage for generations to come.
