Ranchi: Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, along with his wife and MLA Smt. Kalpana Soren, attended the Christmas celebration held today at the Archbishop House, Ranchi. On this occasion, the Chief Minister offered prayers before Infant Jesus and received blessings. He also celebrated the joy of the birth of Lord Jesus by cutting a cake in a cheerful atmosphere.
Earlier, Archbishop Vincent Aind warmly welcomed the Chief Minister on his arrival at the Archbishop House. Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Archbishop Vincent Aind exchanged heartfelt Christmas greetings and best wishes, emphasizing the message of love, peace, harmony, and brotherhood in society.
On this joyous occasion, priests from the Bishop House, Manresa House, Sadbhavana, St. Xavier’s College, and Albert College, along with other religious leaders and dignitaries, were present. Everyone shared the happiness of the birth of Lord Jesus and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting mutual harmony and unity.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that Christmas is a festival of love, sacrifice, and humanity, which inspires people to live with compassion and goodwill toward one another.
