Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has announced the Bokaro Half Marathon 2026, to be held on February 1, 2026, with expanded arrangements and renewed momentum built on the success of earlier editions.
The announcement was made at a press conference that concluded today at the Sports Complex, Sector 4F. Officials said the event will be organised on a wider scale this year, with enhanced prize money, special facilities for outstation participants, and strengthened logistical support to ensure smooth conduct.
Participant safety will remain a key focus, with medical teams and ambulances deployed along the entire route. The marathon aims to further encourage fitness awareness and community participation across Bokaro and neighbouring regions.
For participation, online registration through www.bokaromarathon.com is mandatory. Registrations are open and will close on January 20, 2026.
