SFI Jharkhand Holds State-Level Meeting in Ranchi, Outlines Strategy for Student Movements


Ranchi::The Students’ Federation of India (SFI), Jharkhand State Committee, held an important organizational meeting in Ranchi today under the chairmanship of Comrade Shricharan.


Students from P.P. College, Bundu (Ranchi), Ranchi Women’s College, State Polytechnic College, and various educational institutions from Koderma, Pakur, and Palamu districts actively participated in the meeting.


The discussion primarily focused on burning issues concerning students, including the lack of basic facilities in college campuses, irregularities in scholarship distribution, increasing privatization of education, and the burden of rising fees.The organization resolved to launch a statewide membership drive and organize movements and awareness campaigns to raise the voice of students on these pressing matters.


State Convener Comrade Danish said:


“The objective of today’s meeting was to unite the students of Jharkhand and strengthen the struggle for their rights. SFI will soon begin a membership campaign across the state and raise decisive voices on student-related issues in every college.”


Meanwhile, All India Vice President Comrade Pranay stated:


SFI believes education is a fundamental right. At a time when education is being commercialized, our mission is to make it accessible to every section of society. We will reach out to students in every district of Jharkhand to spread awareness and strengthen the organization.”



At the conclusion of the meeting, all 

members pledged to continue their collective struggle for democratizing education, ensuring equal opportunities, and protecting students’ rights.


Prominent leaders present at the meeting included SFI All India Vice President Comrade Pranay, former Central Committee member Comrade Ranjit Modak, State Convener Comrade Danish, Ranchi District Convener Comrade Warish, and several other active members such as Khushbu, Aman, Pooja, Diya, Saloni, and Pankaj, along with delegates from various districts.
