Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) paid heartfelt floral tributes to India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, on his birth anniversary on 14 November in Bokaro Steel City.
Leading the officials, Executive Director (Works) Priya Ranjan offered tributes at the Nehru statues located in Sector 5 and the Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park. Nehru, who envisioned public sector undertakings as the “temples of modern India,” was remembered with deep respect.
Joining him were Executive Director (HR) Rajshree Banerjee, Executive Director (Materials Management) C. R. Mishra, Executive Director (Projects) Anish Sengupta, Executive Director (Operations) Anup Kumar Dutta, and Executive Director (Medical & Health Services) Dr. B. B. Karunamay.
Chief General Manager (Town Administration) Kundan Kumar, Chief General Manager (Technical) Lakshmi Das, Chief General Manager In-charge (Finance & Accounts) S. K. Bhardwaj, along with other senior officials, also paid homage, reflecting the organisation’s collective admiration for Nehru’s enduring legacy in India’s industrial development.
