Jharkhand’s soldiers and their families to receive advanced medical facilities at CGHS rates
Ranchi: A major relief for soldiers and their families living in Jharkhand. Paras HEC Hospital, Ranchi, and the Military Hospital have signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday. Under this agreement, all serving and retired defence personnel and their dependents residing in Jharkhand and Ranchi will now be able to avail quality healthcare services at CGHS rates at Paras Hospital.
With this agreement, all state-of-the-art medical facilities of Paras Hospital — including emergency services, cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, nephrology, general surgery, and critical care — will now be easily accessible to military families as well.
On this occasion, Brigadier S. V. Krishnan said that this collaboration with Paras Hospital is a major step toward providing quality and timely healthcare to soldiers and their families in Jharkhand. He added that this initiative will reduce the need for soldiers to travel outside the state for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, Dr. Nitesh Kumar, Facility Director of Paras Hospital, said, “Even during emergencies, military personnel
and their family members can now avail our hospital’s services 24×7. It is a matter of pride for us to serve the brave soldiers of our nation and their families.”
Dr. Kumar further stated that this MoU reinforces the hospital’s commitment to community service and quality healthcare. He added that Paras Hospital will ensure every possible medical support and assistance for defence personnel so that they do not face any inconvenience during medical emergencies.
