Ranchi: Thirteen workers from Matihana Panchayat in Behragoda recently returned home safely after facing harassment at Agilis Vitrified Private Limited in Gujarat. The factory management had neither allowed them to leave nor treated them fairly.
Upon learning about the workers’ plight, Former MLA Kunal Shardangi quickly brought the matter to Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Recognizing the urgency, the Chief Minister directed the district administration and relevant officials to take immediate action.
Thanks to swift intervention, all thirteen workers safely returned to their families. Villagers and the workers’ families expressed deep gratitude to Shardangi, the district administration, and Chief Minister Soren for their timely support.
This incident highlights that with prompt action and determination from the government and public representatives, the problems of migrant workers can be resolved effectively.
