Under the auspices of Hum Sab Puja Committee, Naya More, B.S. City, the grand Maa Kali Puja was celebrated on Tuesday with deep devotion, enthusiasm, and traditional fervour. Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha visited the venue, performed rituals, and prayed to Maa Kali for the peace, prosperity, and harmony of the district.
The committee has been organizing this traditional celebration continuously for the past 46 years. Committee Secretary Parmatma Sharma expressed gratitude to the district administration for their continued support and cooperation.
Prominent members including Sanjay Thakur, Ajay Tiwari, and Sujeet Darar actively participated in the arrangements.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner praised the committee’s social and cultural initiatives, stating that such festivals strengthen unity, brotherhood, and cultural consciousness in society.
A large number of devotees attended the event, filling the pandal with spiritual energy as chants and hymns echoed through the air.
Among those present were Assistant Public Relations Officer Avinash Kumar Singh along with other administrative officials and committee members.
