Bokaro, 11 September:
A minor gas leak occurred at the acid regeneration plant-3 of CRM-3 in Bokaro Steel Plant around 11 am on Thursday. The leak was identified at the drain port pipeline.
The emergency management department (EMD) team reached the site and closed the drain port valve. The safety engineering department also inspected the location along with EMD.
According to communication chief Mani Kant Dhan, the situation has been brought under control. No injury or damage was reported. The gas meter showed zero leakage after the valve was closed, and operations are continuing as normal.
