Hemant Soren Distributes Appointment Letters to Newly Appointed Assistant Teachers in Jharkhand

Ranchi(godda) :: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today participated as the chief guest in the appointment letter distribution ceremony organized by the Jharkhand Education Department. The event was held for the newly appointed Bachelor Trained Assistant Teachers (Mathematics and Science) from Godda district, among others.

During the ceremony, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to 301 newly appointed Assistant Acharyas (Teachers) for Mathematics and Science subjects. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the selected candidates and encouraged them to contribute with sincerity and dedication to Jharkhand’s education system.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is committed to strengthening education across all levels—primary, secondary, degree, engineering, medical, and higher education. He stated that efforts are being made to ensure inclusive and quality education for all, particularly for economically weaker sections of society.
He highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to recruit 26,000 teachers across various levels, underlining that appointments like these are critical steps toward reforming and revitalizing the state's education sector.
Reflecting on the evolution of education, Shri Soren recalled how students once used slates and blackboards, while today’s generation is learning through digital tools and smart classrooms. He stressed that the aim is not only to modernize infrastructure but also to ensure holistic intellectual development.
Addressing the newly appointed teachers, the Chief Minister reminded them of their responsibility toward shaping the future of the next generation. “You are now part of the system that holds the future of Jharkhand in its hands. The government has entrusted you with this important duty, and you must uphold it with integrity and hard work,” he said.
He also pointed out the disparities between private and government schools, acknowledging that many parents still prefer private institutions due to perceived better quality. However, he emphasized the government’s resolve to elevate the standard of education in government schools so that they become the first choice for every family.
CM Soren urged the newly appointed teachers to focus not only on classroom teaching but also on being mentors and role models. He stated that public money funds their salaries, and hence they must work with full accountability.
The Chief Minister concluded by saying, “If we want to achieve something meaningful, we must work with passion and a sense of duty. Our aim is to build a robust education system that empowers every child in Jharkhand.”
Several dignitaries were present on the occasion, including Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav  Education Secretary Shri Uma Shankar Singh, Prohibition Director Shri Shashi Ranjan, and Primary Education Director Shri Manoj Ranjan. The newly appointed teachers, along with their families, also attended the event, making it a memorable and proud moment for all.
