Bokaro, Sept 15: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has appointed Fr. Dr. Joshi Varghese, Principal of Mar Gregorios Memorial Higher Secondary School, as Deputy City Coordinator (DCC) for Bokaro district for a three-year term starting September 15, 2025.
With over two decades in education, Dr. Varghese holds a Doctorate in Education and has led institutions across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Nagaland. As Education Officer of the M.G.M. Group, he oversaw 32 schools and three colleges, and was instrumental in establishing several new institutions.
Currently Treasurer of Dr. Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex and a Core Committee Member of the Bokaro Unaided School Management Forum, he is known for his contributions to empowering students and educators. His appointment is seen as a step towards strengthening CBSE initiatives and raising educational standards in Bokaro.
