Bokaro, Sept 12 – Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha chaired a district-level meeting at the Collectorate auditorium on Friday, issuing key directives to senior officials, clerks, and staff on administrative discipline, financial transparency, and scheme implementation.
He instructed that no officer or employee should leave headquarters without prior written leave approval, failing which disciplinary action including suspension may follow. Officials or staff carrying over ₹1 lakh for personal purposes must obtain a certificate from Additional Collector Mohammad Mumtaz Ansari before travel.
DC Jha emphasized that all employees must be well-dressed, disciplined, and uphold high moral standards. He urged staff to work in coordination and unity, maintaining the office as a strong and responsible institution.
On development works, the DC directed the Deputy Development Commissioner to prepare a list of mining-affected areas and ensure proper fund allocation under DMFT. He also noted that projects will proceed only after Gram Sabha approval and Governing Body clearance, and all offices must update registers and safeguard records.
Audits of DMFT works will be conducted through state-empanelled audit firms, along with mandatory social audits, to ensure transparency. The meeting was attended by Deputy Development Commissioner Shatabdi Mazumdar, DPLR Menka, NDC Prabhash Dutta, DPRO Ravi Kumar, and other officials.
