RANCHI::The two-day training camp of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) came to a close today, marked by intense discussions on ideological, political, and organizational challenges facing the movement.
On the first day, sessions continued late into the night with Amal Azad conducting an in-depth class on Indian Philosophy. The second day featured three significant sessions. Prateek Mishra explained the nuances of political terminology, Sameer Das addressed the challenges posed by ideological attacks, and Sukhnath Lohra examined the complexities of identity politics. The sessions were chaired by Shivani Pal and Prafulla Linda.
Presenting the roadmap for the future, Dr. Kashinath Chatterjee, convener of the party’s Education Sub-Committee, stressed the need to strengthen educational initiatives at branch and district levels.
State Secretary Prakash Viplav highlighted the role of the party newspaper and social media. He underscored that expanding digital platforms is not just a necessity but also a strategic challenge, adding that social media must be harnessed as a powerful medium to connect with the youth and spread the party’s message.
This year’s camp also stood out for its use of modern teaching tools—whiteboards and projectors were deployed to display key points in slide form, making sessions more engaging and accessible for participants.
In the concluding session, it was unanimously decided that on September 12, memorial programs will be held across all districts of the state to honor the late General Secretary of the party, Comrade Sitaram Yechury.
