Mahila Mahotsav Week In Bokaro To Promote Women Empowerment Under DC Ajay Nath Jha’s Leadership

 



Week-long programme from March 8 to March 15 will honour inspiring women and host workshops, seminars and awareness initiatives across the district


Bokaro, March 6: Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha, the Bokaro district administration will organise Mahila Mahotsav Saptah from March 8 to March 15 to mark International Women’s Day and promote the spirit of women empowerment across the district.


As part of the week-long celebration, inspiring women from both urban and rural areas who have made notable contributions in their respective fields will be honoured. The initiative aims to recognise their achievements and encourage greater participation of women in social and developmental activities.


Various workshops, seminars and awareness programmes will also be organised during the period to strengthen awareness on women’s rights, opportunities and self-reliance, reinforcing the district administration’s commitment to empowering women at every level.


The administration has invited citizens to take part in the campaign and support the message of “Strong Women, Strong Society.” The initiative will also be highlighted through social media with hashtags #WomenOfBokaro and #BokaroKiBetiyaan.
